    Unable to repair/restore PC after latest win 11 update. Won't boot.


    Downloaded and installed the latest windows 11 update. Left for work and returned to BSOD. Rebooted pc. PC booted to WinRE, and none of the trouble shooting options work. Restore PC is not listed.In CMD prompt, only X drive is listed. Attempted scandisk and sfc /scannow. Unable to access diskTried diskpart, disk 0 No Media size 0 free 0.All HD listed in Bios.I think the partition got corrupted during install, and the disk is no longer recognized. I attempted install windows from USB media, since size is 0, not enough space on drive.Please advise.

    Thank you. However, after creating an ISO DVD and following your detailed directions, I still cannot boot my pc.

    After booting with the ISO, and selecting Startup Repair, the application went through "diagnosing your pc" TO "attempting repairs" then "startup repair couldn't repair your pc."

    I think I also found out how this mess started. I have a picture I can forward if requeted that shows system restore showed that there was an apparent windows update that took place, unbeknownst to me, at exactly the same time! It didn't allow me to
    access it, or any other listed restore point.

    Anyway, I'm still unable to work. Whats my next step?
