    Hello, I'm trying to reset an older Surface RT device since I don't know the password.However, the resetting process halts right around 10% completion mark, a blue screen appears, saying that "There was a problem while resetting your PC".I can only click a "Cancel" button and it reverts me back to the Windows Recovery Mode menu.Here's the process I followedUnable to reset a Surface RT with USB, no access to device due to losing a password. :plugged a 16GB USB into my other PC with Windows 11 installed, deleted all the files from said USB and set it to use the FAT32 file system.Used a native Windows Disk Recovery tool on the USB drive.Downloaded a recovery image file .zip fro

    ▪Dear Microsoft engineers please you reply to this matter and not someone who isn't reliable▪

    I needed to do a reset using a

    USB recovery image on my surface RT since i can't pass the surface logo when powered on

    So I downloaded the recovery image for my surface from the surface website,

    At the end of the download a message popped up saying that install.wim is corrupt. I downloaded it again and same happened.

    I followed the instructions after extracting the zip file onto the usb (which i bought earlier just for this purpose and has 16gb and FAT32 formatted) And the
    install.wim wasn't copied into it.

    When i reached to the troubleshoot option there was only 3 options; refresh. Reset. Advanced options.

    When i hit refresh it says: the drive where windows is installed is locked. Unlock and try again.

    When i hit reset= unable to reset, a required drive partition is missing.

    Please help ASAP I need it to continue my studying

    I can not reset my google password

    Two step works for me if your phone info is the same as it was you should be able to recover it.

    Windows Surface RT not listed on my devices

    Hi,

    It seems like my Windows Surface RT does not appear in the list of devices of my account (in the Manage your download devices - Apps and games section). Is there a way to resolve this?
