    I have been having this problem for quite a while, I have been trying to reset my windows but I keep getting a popup saying to activate my virus protection when it is already active. I have tried to reinstall windows with the media tool onto an external hdd but I am not able to boot into it, I really need help as I need my laptop. Thanks in advance- Taz

    windows xp installation and dual core am

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

    Trying to reinstall Windows 7 Home premium from Windows 8 Pro

    Hi, I have just installed Windows 8 pro and I don't like it. I tried it for a day but I think it has too many unnecessary functions, which drives me crazy. I tried to re-boot with Windows 7 disc in it, but I am unable to select anything using keyboard and mouse on windows 7 installation step (where i choose language and input). Please help.

    Reinstall Windows?

    You don't need to reinstall windows. Go to the device manager and remove uninstall the processor and motherboard drivers listed. When you start the system back up you should be able to re-install the new ones. I just changed my mobo/processor Friday, everything is fine.

    BTW I have seen some reviews that state practically no difference in using more than 2gb of ram.
