Windows 10: Unable to resolve upgrade from Windows 7 to 10 error: C1900101x30018. Unable to locate...

Hello,


I have been trying to upgrade my PC from Windows 7 to Windows 10. It consistently fails at the first boot phase despite what I try, with the code C1900101x30018.


I have run the standard things: chkdsk, sfc /scannow, and the update troubleshooter. I have also tried disabling my antivirus, but I doubt it is the source of the error. I have also tried the Windows Update Readiness Tool, after which only more errors were found in the setupapi.dev log.

setupapi.dev log shows multiple failures at the end. In other attempts, the errors relating to the printer was not present, and I assume it can be rectified by just unplugging my printer. USB related errors come and go for whatever reason. PCI related errors seem to be persistent, although last time it actually pointed to an INF file that I couldn't even find oem49 or some other high oem number instead of oem11.

Unable to install any OS

Hi guys, I'm unable to install any OS. I tried ubuntu and got input/output error, tried installing window 7 error 0x80000010.

Downloaded iso's of both again and again still same result. Got a new SSD still the same, tried a different usb still the same.

I'm fed up, have been trying since the past 1 month still am unable to install.
I've listed my specs in my profile.

PS Have even tried/changed my ram.
Where the pug is the problem ?

I have been using live usb to work on computer for now but I need a permanent OS.

Anyone had this error installing any old games? 1607: Unable to install installshield scripting runtime error

The game is COD 2 and am running Windows 10 x64.... am sure I have installed this on a previous Windows 10 build, tried a quick google though it's throwing up a load of old threads related to Windows XP

 

Unable to locate start menu in Windows 10

Unable to locate start up menu and existing suggestions for Windows 10 have not resolved issue. Also can't locate calculator.
