Windows 10: Unable to restart PC, but can power on.

Hello,Ill explain my situation first, Few days ago I attempted to download a windows 10 update. After this update my computer couldn't load and would freeze on the boot up screen on the windows icon. After this i completed the regular checks and nothing was showing so i decided to have a fresh install of windows. I did this and had slight issue with drivers not installing upon start up once again because my computer couldn't restart when updating. I later then managed to load it in safe mode and did installs on all my drivers to the latest including updating the BIOS. My issue is that my compu

Method 1:

I suggest you to perform the Startup Repair and check.

Follow the below steps:

• Click on the Start button and click on the Settings option.
• Select Update & security > Recovery.
• Go to Advanced startup and select Restart now.
• After your PC restarts to the Choose an option screen, select
  Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Repair.

If the issue persists then follow the below method.

Method 2:

I would recommend suggest you to enable the fast startup.

Follow the below steps:

• Right click on the Start icon and select Power Options.
• Click on the Choose what power buttons do on the left navigation pane.
• Click on Change settings that are currently unavailable (Enter the admin credentials if prompted).
• Check the Turn on Fast startup (Recommended) box.
• Click on Save changes.
• Restart the computer.

PC Randomly Restarting after installing new Ram!

Tried your suggestions, but still had a restart! Also ran memtest overnight (13 hours according to memtest) and had no errors! Also ran Passmark Burn in test for a couple hours testing everything and had no errors or restart. Could fitting the new ram have triggered something to go bad like my mobo or psu?

I suggest that you run the Power troubleshooter and check. Follow the steps :

• Click on Windows logo
• Type Troubleshooting
• Under System and Security Click Power usage
• Let the troubleshooter run.

If the above method does not help resolve the issue, then try the below :

• Click on Windows logo
• Type Power Options.
• Click Create a Power Plan
• Create a new Power plan and check
