    Hello,I need help with my Windows activation issue. My laptop originally came with Windows 11 Home Single Language, but I mistakenly changed the edition to Windows 11 Education using a generic key. Now, I am unable to revert back to Windows 11 Home Single Language, and my activation is not working.Issue Details:Original Edition OEM License: Windows 11 Home Single LanguageCurrent Edition: Windows 11 EducationOEM Product Key from BIOS: 2NT3G-#####-#####-#####-DRR72Microsoft Account Shows: Windows 11 Core Single Language which is correctActual PC Edition: Windows 11 Education does not match

    Change system language on a single language licence

    Yes it is possible to change the language on Windows 10 Single Language

    Hello. This is Emily.

    Unfortunately you won’t be able to change the display language due to the license being the single language version. Your Microsoft 365 Basic is not for Windows but Office apps. You can upgrade your Windows to pro edition and pay the price difference on license. Then you will be able to change display language.

    You can get the upgrade portion to Pro from the store app by searching for Windows 11 pro.

    If you upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11, you will end up with the exact same edition (Home, Home Single Language, Pro...etc.) as you previously had in Windows 10.

    The Home single language version of Windows 10 or 11 will not allow you to change the User Interface language in Windows, in the Home edition, you can change that language.

    If you have a Home Single Language version of Windows, you cannot install the Home version, because the licence key will not activate that version.
