Windows 10: Unable to scan on Canon mx432 printer

My Canon mx432 printer is offline. When I try to uncheck the "printer offline" box, it won't let me uncheck it!

This issue may occur due the printer driver is being out dated. Let’s try simple troubleshooting steps and check if this helps in resolving the issue. Follow the below methods.

Method 1.

I suggest you to run Printer troubleshooter and check if it helps.

  Type troubleshooting on the search bar and click on
  Troubleshooting.
  
• 
  Click on Troubleshooting and click on print on
  printer Hardware and Sound.
  
• 
  Click on Advanced on the Printer troubleshooter dialog box and click on Run as administrator (Enter the credentials if required).
  
• 
  Click on Next and follow onscreen instruction complete the Printer troubleshooter.
  

If the issue still persist try the below provided information.

Method 2.

I recommend you to uninstall/reinstall the printer driver and check if this helps in resolving the issue.

• 
  Press Windows Key + X and click on
  Device Manager.
  
• 
  Locate for the Print Queues and expand it.
  
• 
  Right click on the printer and click on
  uninstall.
  
• 
  Once you are done uninstalling the driver, restart the computer. It will automatically install the generic printer driver.
  

If the above steps does not help to fix the issue. I suggest you to go to the printer manufacturer website download the latest printer driver and install the same.

Problem in installing Canon PIXMA MX432 printer on Windows 10

Original title: Printer Icons in control panel

My Canon PIXMA MX432 printer quit printing, one solution was to delete the printer in the control panel and reinstall. I clicked remove all the printer icons from the control panel and attempted to reinstall the printer, however NOTHING works. I have the
printer rehooked to my wireless network, but my laptop no longer has icons for a printer in the control panel, the install a new printer does not work as the laptop does not recognize the printer and I don't know what to do. I did download new drivers from
Canon for the printer, thinking that would readd it, but it didn't. I am not real savvy about all this, so please be simple with a solution. Thanks!

 

Problem in installing Canon PIXMA MX432 printer on Windows 10

I have re-run the download from Canon for this printer, followed all the steps and it still did not add a printer icon in my control panel or show any printer as an installed device. I am the one that deleted the printer yesterday in an effort to get
it to print...but once I clicked remove printer in the control panel, nothing I am doing it getting the printer reinstalled. any other suggestions?
