Windows 10: Unable to see photo recently taken from iPhone 14 in Windows explore

Hello, I have a Windows 10 Enterprise Edition & an iPhone 14. I plug my iPhone to the PC via a USB cable. I click allow on the iPhone. The windows expoler will then come up. I click on internal storage, DCIM, then last file created. The photos that I just took are not displaying. Why? Also when I try to open up windows photos I am unable to I get an EXPLORE.EXE Class not registered. I am not for sure what is going on. I have called apple & they stated that this is a Mircosoft issue & that I need to reach out to them. Please help Thanks

how to transfer photos from iphone to pc?

There are some photos in my iphone and I want to transfer them to my pc for editing.The problem is,none of these photos was taken by iphone so it's not easy to transfer.I have done it once before but this time it doesn't work out.I really don't know which step is wrong!Could u pls help me...

You may also follow the below steps and check if it help you to import the photos from the iPhone.

• Connect your iPhone to your Windows 10 PC using the USB cable provided by Apple. Check your iPhone screen now and a notification with “Trust” option will appear. Choose “Trust” option to continue.
• Open Windows File Explorer. Press the Windows + E keys on the keyboard to open File explorer
• Under “This PC”, you should see your iPhone as a drive. Double-click the icon for your iPhone here. Now you may have the access to your photos/folders in your iPhone.
• Photos and videos taken on your iPhone should now be visible. Then you can select the photos to transfer them to Windows 10.

Where from does MS ‘Photos’ takes pictures and videos taken by iPhone ?

  On my Desktop PC Windows 10 OS is installed.

  My cellular phone is Apple iPhone 6s.
  
• 
  I photographed on it thousands of pictures and videos.
  
• 
  By mistake, after purchasing the iPhone, I didn’t change the default settings:
  
  ‘Settings’ > ‘Photos and Camera’ > ~ Improve the performance of storage in the iPhone
  
• 
  To be:
  
  ‘Settings’ > ‘Photos and Camera’ > ~ Upload and keep the original files
  
• 
  The result is:
  
  • 
    Pictures and Videos are kept in the original size / volume on Apple’s iCloud.
    
  • 
    Pictures and Videos are compressed
    by the iPhone OS – on the phone itself (iOS 10.2.1).
    
  • 
    That is for the purpose of saving memory usage.
    
    
    
• 
  Now I would like to backup all taken by the iPhone on to my MS PC
  
  = in the original, full size !
  
  
  
• 
  On my MS PC I see the ‘Photos’ application that is included in Windows 10.

  I don’t know that application and I never used it.
