    Hi, I am trying to set the HPC 2016 cluster property to keep the performance counter data for 30 days using the below PowerShell command. The command runs successfully but after I restart the server the settings go back to 3 days default.Powershell command: Set-HPCClusterProperty -MinuteCounterRetention 30Could someone please help me with how to set this value permanently?Thanks in advanceChokka

    HPC Pack 2016 - Failing to launch on AWS

    Hi

    I have successfully build HPC 2016 a few months back for testing purposes on VMs locally. We now want to build actual cluster on AWS.

    We follow the guidelines listed
    here    . We are experiencing problems that we have not encountered before. The first being the installer warning that the account is not a domain account. The account we are installing from is a domain account that is part of the Domain Admin group.

    Continuing and completing the installation it appears that HPC Job Manager runs when launched with Administrator Privileges. When running as a user (who was added as a cluster user - also a domain account) we get error shown below as Error A.

    If I right-click and runs as a different user but add the same credentials again, I am able to launch the HPC Job Manager. Not sure why this is happening. Any one else experiencing this?

    I am trying to setup a cluster of just two laptops(for learning, so that I would later on be able to purchase Microsoft services to build an actual HPC in my university for researchers, and I am not in favor of Linux like some of my group members are, against
    whom I need to take the matter into my own hands and prove them that windows cluster can be setup easily), running windows 10 and windows server 2012 r2? If yes, what are the steps? please note that there are just two laptops for this activity both of which
    are running windows 10 and windows server 2012 r2

    Perform Upgrade of Windows Cluster & SQL Cluster from 2008 R2 to 2012 R2

    I am looking to perform Upgrade of Windows cluster on which SQL cluster is running 2008 R2 and i have to upgrade the OS to 2012 R2.

    Please can some one suggest or share some step by step guide which i can refer.
