Windows 10: Unable to shutdown

Hello People,
I m trapped in very weird situation as my system is not going to shutdown completely.When i click shutdown system goes to shutdown screen its green screen with shutdown in middle,then screen goes off and CPU fans keep running if a tap space or any button on Keyboard system start immediately from login screen.
My OS is Windows 10 Pro.

Unable to shut down Windows 10

Still waiting for answers. Still unable to shutdown Windows, must shutdown hitting the power button.

 

I installed windows 10 professional. But it's not get shutdown using shutdown option. Every time i need to sign out from my login and after clicking shutdown button PC got shutdown.

I have the same problem like you after fail to convert GPT back to MBR, and also when dual boot with Kali linux. Do you have any second OS in you PC ? My sollution was keep one (reinstalled howver) and delete the other.

 

Yes I have Ubuntu installed as second OS both were working fine till i recover my Windows 10.I think i m facing problem from then.i just figured it out recently that my PC is not shutting properly.

And what is best method of clean install again as don't have any hard or soft medium of OS right now.

 

Try to shutdown from administrative command prompt: shutdown /s
Let us know the result.

 

Or Run %windir%\System32\shutdown.exe -s -f -t 00
