Windows 10: Unable to Sign in Microsoft Account due to Windows Hello

I'm trying to delete payment options in Microsoft Edge, but I can only do so through my Microsoft Account. However, when I try to sign in it only allows me to use Windows Hello to sign in, but the window that says "Sign in with Windows Hello or a security key. Your PC will open a security window. Follow the instructions there to sign in." Is just infinitely loading, no security window opening.

Good Day!

I recently purchased a laptop and it was working fine for a week.

However after an update, I was unable to sign in to my Microsoft Account.

I found out that it was due to my laptop not compatible to Windows Hello.

I have a Lenovo Yoga 310. It does not have fingerprint drive as well as camera drive needed to run Windows Hello.

I am not looking on using Windows Hello since I understand that my device does not support it but I really need to sign in my Microsoft Account since I can't access my emails on Outlook. I can't access applications that is associated with my Microsoft Account.

I am really needing help. Please advise.

1. Which accounts are you unable to sign in to?
2. What happens when you try to sign in to your account?
3. Are you seeing any error messages when you try to sign in to your PC?

If you are referring to the Microsoft account and if your Microsoft account has been compromised, it means that someone might be using your account to access your personal info or send spam. I suggest use the following guide to
get back into your account, review your personal info and settings, and help prevent this from happening again. Refer the article on

How to access a compromised Microsoft account and try to reset your password. If the issue still persists you can follow the remaining steps mentioned in the article and check if that helps.
