Windows 10: Unable to sign in to a school account personal account successfully added

Hi,I have successfully added a personal account to the system. But when I tried to add my school account, it showed that 'we couldn't sign you in. Please try again.' P.S. I can sign to office 365 using the school account on website.Thanks!Lu

School Account Sign In

Is it a School Account? If so see how to merge with your Personal Microsoft Account:

Or you can sign in with the School Account on another MS or Local Account in Settings > Accounts > Email and Accounts > Add a Work or School account.

If still unsure contact your schools IT Help Desk as they know what your free account includes and how exactly to sign in with it.

Unable to sign in to my account.

1. Which accounts are you unable to sign in to?
2. What happens when you try to sign in to your account?
3. Are you seeing any error messages when you try to sign in to your PC?

If you are referring to the Microsoft account and if your Microsoft account has been compromised, it means that someone might be using your account to access your personal info or send spam. I suggest use the following guide to
get back into your account, review your personal info and settings, and help prevent this from happening again. Refer the article on

How to access a compromised Microsoft account and try to reset your password. If the issue still persists you can follow the remaining steps mentioned in the article and check if that helps.

Work and School account is an account created by an organization’s administrator to enable a member of the organization to access Microsoft services such as OneNote online and Office 365. If you want to sign in to other Microsoft websites, we suggest creating
a personal Microsoft account to sign in. You will know if your work or school account can be used if the sign in page indicates that you can use work, school or personal Microsoft account.
