Hi, My laptop died and when I plugged in the charger and tried to sign in, my finger prints log in wasn't working. It asked me to sign in using my PIN but I was unable to do so when clicking on that option. The only option was to try to sign in using my password but I forgot that one so I had to change it.I was successful in changing my outlook psasword, but I had to do some text message confirmation at some stage when I went back to change my PIN, that requested me receiving a message to my old, expired, phone number. After Windows update, finger print not able to read and unable to login as no password was set

Today after windows update my laptop is showing please enter pin number for finger print sensor. I am unable to login as no password was set finger print not able to read. Before windows update it was working ok . Can anybody suggest me way to login ?

Unable to sign in, the only option is Pin.

I am unable to log into my laptop, due to it requiring a PIN which I have forgotten, It doesn't let me use my finger print, nor do I know where I can find or change the pin. It doesn't let me change accounts or open settings at all.

 

Sign-in options PIN and Finger Print

Hello everyone,

I've been trying to setup a PIN on my laptop but it keeps telling me "Something went wrong. Try again later." and i have tried restarting or shutting down my laptop and still faced with the same result.

As for Finger Print sign in, i used to sign in with just a swipe then it just wouldn't. Then i uninstalled and re-installed hp simple pass and the same problem keeps coming back.
