Windows 10: Unable to sign into account on computers

Hi,We have accounts at our Business that were set up by someone third party a while ago, we have no name or anything as that business owners has sold up and left. Our hard drive stopped working on Thursday so we had to get another placed however it has signed us out of the email and we are unable to get back in. We have the email address and password but for some weird reason it is not letting us. We have tired sending codes however we are unable to obtain as they stupidly put the alternate email as the same email we are trying to log into. Please help, we can't do much with no email.Thanks,In

1. Which accounts are you unable to sign in to?
2. What happens when you try to sign in to your account?
3. Are you seeing any error messages when you try to sign in to your PC?

If you are referring to the Microsoft account and if your Microsoft account has been compromised, it means that someone might be using your account to access your personal info or send spam. I suggest use the following guide to
get back into your account, review your personal info and settings, and help prevent this from happening again. Refer the article on

How to access a compromised Microsoft account and try to reset your password. If the issue still persists you can follow the remaining steps mentioned in the article and check if that helps.

Welcome to Microsoft Community.

• Is this the only account on the computer?
• Was this account upgraded from previous version of Windows?

It looks like you are using a local account. I suggest you follow these steps:

• Click on search in taskbar and type account.
• Click on Accounts.
• Now, under Your account, click on Sign in with Microsoft account instead.
• Enter your Local account password for confirmation and then follow the screen instruction.
• Enter User name credentials for your the new Microsoft account and click OK.
