Windows 10: Unable to sign into Microsoft Store after changing my account email address

I changed the email address associated with my Microsoft account a few days ago. I can log back onto the website just fine, using my password or when sending a code via email, but when I try to sign into the Microsoft Store or Xbox apps on my Windows PC, I receive the following error consistently: This shows after the prompt to "Use this account everywhere on your device," but despite the message that "we will sign you into this app," I get sent back to the beginning of the login process to re-enter my email address.To remedy this, I've already tried resetting the password on my account, and

Here is how you can change the email address on your Microsoft account:

• Sign in to
  Manage how you sign in to Microsoft
  and fill in the information needed.
• Once you are on the page of Manage how you sign in to Microsoft,
  select Add email under the
  Account alias.
• Choose the option Create a new email address or
  Add an existing email address as a Microsoft account alias.
• Click Add alias.
• Click Make primary (To make the new email address as primary alias, you need to verify it for security purposes then follow the instruction on the email to
  finish the process).

Note: It will take up to 48 hours for the change to your email address to be applied across all Microsoft services.

 

Microsoft Email Changes I Don't Know
