Windows 10: Unable to sign on Win 10

Hope someone can help me out. After 6 hours online with MS support, I am left with a computer I can not log on to. Long story, but as a result of their tinkering I was forced to do a Windows reset. Rebooting I get to a logon screen, with my name and what is supposed to be an outlook mail account. But when I first set it up I typed "putlook" instead of outlook. I was able to correct it later and everything was fine. But the reset went back to putlook and now when I try to sign on it tells me invalid account. Tried to find a way to fix it using cmd prompt and regedit, but no luck. Have enabled administrator account but logon screen still only shows my default account with outlook account. Any suggestions? Unable to download free photo app for Win 10 Signed in and have a account but when Ipress theGet THE APP button nothing happens. Very Frustrating

 

Have managed to setup a user (not admin) account using netplwiz at command prompt. Still can't find any way to correct the existing admin account or add another one.*Sad

 

OK I think I've resolved this on my own. A pleasant reminder that windows is just a fancy front end for DOS.
Opened a command prompt window, and ran the following:
Net user administrator /active
Net user administrator /passwordreq:no

This has the effect of activating the inbuilt administrator account, and allowing it to sign on without entering a password. After that it was a simple thing to change my user account to have admin privileges.
Don't forget to deactivate the Administrator account, or at least add a password to it
