Windows 10: Unable to sort and rationalize the Start Menu in Win10

Just installed Win10 in a newly built computer and I can't rationalize my Start menu. Some items can't be moved into appropriate subject folders, and some bloatware items can't be deleted or even moved to a Bloatware folder where they can be ignored . Is there a way to take control and set things up so the start menu will be useful and user friendly? I found the Start menu folder under Windows in Program data but some items don't even show up there.

How to sort apps in start menu?

Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Community.

I would like to inform you that all apps are sorted in alphabetic order by default, you may pin the apps to Start Bar.

Please follow below steps to pin then.

• Clock on Start Button, Go to all app.
• Select particular app which you want to pin.
• Right click on the app, you will get 2 options, Pin to Task Bar and Pin to Start Menu.
• Select the option which is appropriate to you.

Unable to Start in Safe Mode Win10

I understand that as repeating the basic problem. Is that what you mean? I can't tell you why- some sort of corruption- hence all the steps I'm suggesting. Please try each in turn.

The first are to check for basic forms of corruption and so proceed onwards in order.
