  1. Unable to start system....PIN in unavailable

I have a window surface laptop. I usually log in with face ID. That would not work this morning so the computer said to use my pin. When I tried I get a message that says "something happened and your pin isn't available. Click to setup your pin again. If I click "setup my pin" nothing happens. If I click "sign in options" I see a smiley that gives an error that the camera could not be turned on and a box with 10 dots that does nothing. After a few minutes I sometimes get another errorExplorer.exe system error - the system detected an overrun of a stack based buffer in this application.

    :)

Using Win10 on an HP Pavillion Gaming Laptop

PIN went away. Now when I go into create a PIN I get "Something went wrong. Try again later". The step prior is: Start.>Settings>Accounts>Sign in Options>Windows Hello PIN and it reads "This options is currently unavailable - click to learn more". I
followed the steps suggested, but they don't work

    Suggestions?.

Unable to Pin Certain Programs to Start Menu

Thanks for your replies guys. I am now able to file the FileTypesMan when I do a search in the Start Menu, however, the app is not displayed in the Start Menu alphabetical list. Why is that?
