Windows 10: Unable to Stream Music/Audio from Win 10 PC to Bluetooth Headsets.

Hi All,

I am on Win 10 Update 1903.

I recently tried streaming music/audio from my PC to different BT Headsets. However, I am unable to do so for all the BT headsets.

I am able to pair the headset BT devices, but not able to connect and play audio. The option to allow Discovery is enabled already.

When I Press the Connect button after selecting the paired device in Settings-->Devices-->Bluetooth, I get a message as shown in Figure-1 below:

Below Figure-2 shows how my Bluetooth devices appear in Device Manager:

And the below Figure-3 shows how my Audio devices look in Device Manager - Please note none of the BT Headsets appear here :

Streaming music on bluetooth disconnects wifi


Having upgraded form 8.1 to Windows 10 I now find that streaming music on bluetooth disconnects wifi. It does this every time within a few minuets. (Bluetooth and Adapter drivers are up to date.) I have changed the virgin super hub from channel 1 to 12 but problem remains)
Any suggestions?

Unable to stream music from Android to Windows 10 PC via bluetooth.

How do you edit the services.msc to be automatic and play?

I know you can edit it, but is that the actual line to change to get it to work?

There are no conflicts to get windows to play audio to a headset device and send musicto the device.

Just no way to allow device phone tablet etc, to play sound on your PC. In other words, want to cast my music on the PC.

While it is possible that the problem with your Bluetooth headset is caused by an outdated device driver, we would like to a ask a few questions to effectively assist you:

• Have you tried updating your device driver?
• What is the make and model of your Bluetooth headset?

Moreover, if you hear audio glitches or low-quality audio in general when playing music over a Bluetooth headset, close Bluetooth settings if it’s open. Your PC will no longer be searching for Bluetooth devices, which can cause problems
when it’s streaming music at the same time. You may also hear issues if you’re using Bluetooth for something else at the same time you’re listening to music over it (for example, you’re sharing files over Bluetooth while listening to music over
a Bluetooth speaker).

Furthermore, if you’re running Version 1703, we suggest using the Bluetooth troubleshooter to find and resolve Bluetooth problems with your computer. Here's how:

• Click the Start button.
• Select Settings.
• Click Update & security.
• Select Troubleshoot.
• After running the troubleshooter, reconnect your Bluetooth headset.
