Windows 10: Unable to Switch Between Tabs and Features Under Specific Circumstances

Hello, everyone in this community. I want to inform you about a problem that strikes all my computers. It is that I cannot switch between tabs in Google Chrome or features located at the top of the window in any other app.For example, when I use Microsoft Word, I cannot switch from Home to Insert. The same thing happens for the rest of the Toolbar. Besides that, the problem happens in Microsoft PowerPoint and many more apps.My problem only happens when I go fullscreen, while no problem happens when I minimize to a certain size. Virtual Switch Manger Unable to Create Default Switch in v1809

After upgrading to v1809 I turned Hyper-V feature Off then On. Since then the Default Switch no longer exists and the Virtual Switch Manager is unable to crate it automatically as it would normally. I can see the Default Switch appear for a few seconds in the Network Adapters, then its gone. This happens several time whenever I launch the Virtual Switch Manager.

I can create other virtual switches.
Once the Virtual Switch Manager lists the Default Switch with a Load Failed message.

I have used netcfg -d command and Turned Hyper-V feature Off/On several times with no success.

Suggestions welcome. Thanks

 

Feature suggestion: Add right-click menu

Suggestion: Please add a Windows 7 Jump-List and/or right-click menu to the GPU-Z icon in the Windows taskbar. Possible menus in it would be "Exit" and "About GPU-Z...".
Maybe also "Switch to tab 1/Switch to tab 2/Switch to videocard 1/Switch to videocard 2" too.
Examples of programs that have such menus are ICQ, Skype, AIM.

NOTE: It seems for a right-click menu, Windows 7 is not needed - it works on WinXP and Vista too.
But even a Windows 7 Jump-list may be good enough.

I suggest you to follow the methods provided below to resolve this issue.

Method 1: Restore drivers to default.

• In taskbar, on system tray right click on volume icon.
• Select Playback devices.
• Under playback tab. Click on Speaker/Headphone.
• Click on Properties tab.
• Go to Advance tab.
• Click on Restore to default.

If the issue still persist, I suggest you to download and install the audio drivers in compatibility mode and check.

Method 2:

Follow the steps to install the drivers in compatibility mode.

• Download the drivers from the manufacturer’s website.
• Right-click on the installer and click on "Properties".
• Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box "Run this program in compatibility mode for” and select previous Operating System from the drop down.
• Click on ‘Apply’ and click ‘OK’ and run the file to install it.
