    Unable to turn Core Isolation off despite being administrator


    Statement: this setting is managed by your administratorI know how to change the registry, but why is this even blocked? Is my PC compromised?It also has the same statement "this setting is managed by your administrator" for the Local Security Authority protection, which is off, and I can't turn on.

    Turn On or Off Core Isolation Memory Integrity in Windows 10  


    It looks like the .reg file in step 2 of Option Two in this tutorial worked to turn on Core isolation for you.

    Correct, you could use step 3 to turn it off.

    I am unable to turn on Core Isolation despite it showing that I have no incompatible drivers.

    Bear in mind that I'm a bit on the dumb side when it comes to computers so you're gonna have to treat me like a child when explaining the steps.

    So first things first, I noticed that the Core isolation questions while on the board so I took a look at m own and found that it was Off.

    Did a scan, there were no incompatible drivers yet I keep being told that i am unable to turn it on.

    screenshots as above. Is there another thing that I can check if I can even turn it on?

    Again, you're gonna have to walk a baby through how to do this.

    I can't turn on Core Isolation because there is a message that says, it is managed by your administrator. If I am the administrator, shouldn't I be able to turn it on?
