    Unable to turn off Core Isolation as an administrator


    I am attempting to turn off core isolation but every time I turn off memory integrity in "device security" and restart the machine as prompted, the memory integrity turns back on. My workstation is part of a domain but this is not a group policy setting that is being applied. I have been able to successfully turn this setting off on other workstations that are part of the same domain except for his one workstation. I found a thread that stated to make entries in the registry paths below which I did with the exception of the top one that i underlined, as I do not have that entry. I have admin p

    It looks like the .reg file in step 2 of Option Two in this tutorial worked to turn on Core isolation for you.

    Correct, you could use step 3 to turn it off.

    Core Isolation

    I can't turn on Core Isolation because there is a message that says, it is managed by your administrator. If I am the administrator, shouldn't I be able to turn it on?

    Cannot Turn On Core Isolation Memory Integrity in Settings

    From Tutorial -> Turn On or Off Core Isolation Memory Integrity in Windows 10 Windows 10 Tutorials

    Not able to perform steps in Option 1
    Under "Windows Defender Security Center", "Device Security" is not an option.
    Winver reports Version 1709 (OS build 16299 402)
    The processor is Intel I3
    Virtualization is enabled in system BIOS.


    Please advise.
