    Unable to type in windows system fields


    I have a Lenovo X1 Carbon 1st gen running Windows 10. Some time ago I became unable to type into system fields search, network passwords etc. I have tried all the various solutions but nothing seems to help. I can access windows+R, windows+x etc. but it is really frustrating. Any help gratefully received.

    Are you unable to just type in this fields or are these fields greyed out?

    I would suggest you to first check if install all the latest updates available through Windows updates to make sure that you have all the patches. If you have already done this, then I would suggest try these steps and check if it

    To better assist you, we suggest that you try to do an System File Checker (SFC) scan. This is a utility in Windows that allows user to scan for corruption in Windows system files and restore corrupted files.

    If Windows Resource Protection (WRP) file is missing or corrupted, Windows may not behave as expected. Example, some Windows functions may not work, or Windows may crash.

    I have 3 pair of headphones I use daily .-.
    why the objection anyway
    nobody is forcing you to use or even suggesting it "replace" the current field
    its not like we have a limit on how many fields the site can have
