Unable to UEFI boot - looking for help!

Hello Microsoft Community,Looking to change boot from Legacy to UEFI and have updated my bios settings to enable UEFI and to boot from UEFI. After changing I am unable to boot and get the No Boot Device Found. Press any key to reboot the machine error. From my understanding based on my system info screenshot below my PC should be capable to boot into UEFI. Would greatly appreciate any help in getting my system booting into UEFI

    :)

  2. Unable to boot the computer.

    Hi Samid,

Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Community.

Before we proceed, we would require more information to assist you further.

    • What is the make and model of your computer?

I suggest you check if you are able to boot into Windows Recovery Environment using installation media. Follow the steps provided below and check.

      • Insert the installation USB and boot Windows 10 from it.
      • In the ‘Windows setup’ page select the ‘language to install’, ‘Time and currency format’ and the ‘keyboard or input method’ and click on ‘next’.
      • Click on ‘Repair your computer’ and select ‘Troubleshoot’.
Check if you are able to boot to this window. If you are unable to boot to this window, I suggest you to contact the manufacturer and check.

Hope this information is helpful. Reply us with this information to assist you further.

    Thank you.

  3. UEFI Boot

    Following a Windows 10 update
    to version 2004 on 18thAugust
2020, my PC goes into a boot loop, I can get out of it by pressing F12 and selecting Windows Boot Manager rather than the default UEFI partition
1 on a Kingston SSD. The PC then boots and runs normally.

I would like to repair/restore the UEFI partition - I have tried the startup repair using ALT-F10 but this is unable to fix it. I have also looked at the SSD and partition 1 shows as healthy.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    PC is Acer Aspire XC-885.
