Windows 10: Unable to uninstall Windows 10 x64 bit KB4541335.

Greetings, I hate to do this but I am at a loss. I have been having the issues associated with KB4541335 of increased CPU temps, crashing, basically everything https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4541335/windows-10-update-kb4541335 in this. It crashed so hard the last time, Windows reset itself, deleted my backups and my restore points. I'm not even kidding.Windows lost its mind. So I'm trying to uninstall this update.


However I am getting the following error when going to uninstall the update:


An error has occurred. Not all of the updates were successfully uninstalled.


I have tried:


Administrator cmd:

running: sfc /scannow which went to 100% and did not find any integrity violations.

running wmic qfe list brief /format:table


and then: wusa /uninstall /kb:4541335

which gave me the error Installer encountered an error: 0x80070490 Element not found.


I went to event viewer and got this:

Windows update "Update for Microsoft Windows KB4541335" could not be uninstalled because of error 2147943568 "Element not found." Command line: "wusa /uninstall /kb:4541335"

Level: Error


I attempted to also remove via DISM and got the following error:

An error occured trying to open - Package_1_for_KB4537572~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~10.0.1.3143. The specified package is not valid Windows package even though I got this from CBS


Error: 0x800f0805


The DISM log file can be found at C:\WINDOWS\Logs\DISM\dism.log


However, when I go to dism and look for that package, it's not there.


So I both have the corrupted windows update and yet don't have it at the same time. Help?

unable to install KB4551762 & KB4541335 get error message "0x80073701"

Cannot uninstall Free Sound Recorder v10.7.1 Type 32 bit HELP!

I have an HP laptop with Windows 10 installed Version number 1903 and I think it is 64 bit. I installed the above program 2 months ago and I want to uninstall it.
I tried the many suggestions provided here:
Uninstall and Remove Free Sound Recorder 8.2.3 Step by Step
except the last suggestion but none of them worked.
The last suggestion tells you to download a third party uninstaller and tells you to click on a link which I do not know I can trust. I have however tried installing Revo uninstaller 2.1.0 free version and even this program could not uninstall the program. The message is always the same

C\Program Files(86x)\Free Sound Recorder\unins000.dat" does not exist. Cannot uninstall.

Will installing bitdefender antivirus program get rid of it?
PLEASE HELP.

 

Unable to uninstall Internet explorer 8

hello, i am new to the forums, i am having trouble uninstalling internet explorer 8, i have windows xp home edition, i went to control panel/add remove programs and it doesn't show there, i tried going into the main folder for IE8 but there is no uninstall icon, the reason i want to uninstall it is because i want to install back version 7, and it wont let me unless i uninstall the newer version. any suggestions?
