Windows 10: Unable to unlock the phone screen from my PC.

I've was using the "Phone Link" app on my computer which lets me mirror my phone on my computer and enabled me to unlock the phone screen from my PC. However, I'm no longer able to unlock from the PC and it is showing a black screen instead of the pattern lock. Looking for an unlocked phone to test on


I've started programming in Visual Studio 2015 under Windows 10.

I'd like to get an unlocked phone to test with.

I saw a whole bunch of unlocked phones on Amazon.

Any suggestions as to what phone would be best for that?

1520 screen cracked, unable to unlock phone to backup photos

my phone screen cracked and now the screen will not detect any touches on the screen.

as a result i am unable to unlock the phone to get any of my photos or music backed up when plugged into a PC.

how do i work around this? is there some sort of reset?

I just bought a LG Optimus 7 today and I'm having a really annoying problem with it!



After 1min (configured in settings), it automatically locks the screen... but the screen turns completely black. I can then try any kind of upward gesture on the screen that NOTHING happens! The only way to unlock the phone right now is to long press
the camera button, which starts the camera app...



Is this a bug? Or is there a very specific gesture to unlock the screen? I almost never see the "oh-so-great" lock screen of WP7, with all its useful information...
