Windows 10: Unable to update MS Windows 10

I have been trying to update Windows 10 for around 6 months now. I have spent many hours over many days attempting everything I can find information on, including using the update assistant, installing offline from an ISO, renaming installation folders.. I am getting end of serice messages every day telling me I need to update to a more recent version of windows I am stuck on 1803. Every time it goes round incircles and says undoing changes made to your computer. I have done this at least 40 times. The latest today says

Failed to install on ‎20-‎Nov-‎20 - 0x8007042b

Windows 10 update being enabled.

srlsly? Looks like MS nerfed it then. Hope you get it sorted.

I have to confess that I've not paid much attention to it and didn't bother updating it, although I probably should have.

 

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Well just noticed a pretty large one pop up coming in at 914MB, seems it makes some pretty serous updates.
