Excellent... Before making changes on Disk 1 let's deal with the upgrade - or have you already done that?

If not, do you have the Win 10 bootable medium ready?

And what does bcdedit now show? I'd want to be confident that's ok before attempting the upgrade.

Hello, I have not upgraded yet... I was waiting to hear from you. Now I am in the office. In the afternoon I will run bcdedit and I will post the results. Thanks

    Hello,
please find below the result of bcdedit.

    Thanks for helping,

Yep, I expected bcdedit to be unchanged. So to tidy that up:

    1. make a backup - best to a flash drive or external storage. E.g.
    bcdedit /export <drive letter>:\SAVEDBCD

    2. Then delete the 3rd entry:
    bcdedit /delete {cf84aeec-a48c-11e5-84bb-a68ccleb6flb}

The 3rd entry appears to be the invalid one - notice the two unknown entries in place of the device (partition) and the osdevice

    3. Then
    bcdedit
    again to confirm,

    Thanks

Ok, the next thing to try is upgrading. Do you have the Win 10 CU bootable disk?

But before you do- create a disk image of your Disk 0.

For some reason I'd prefer to make the minimum changes, get Win 10 up and running, then do that. Of course it's up to you. You can also delete the copy of the 16Gb manufacturer's recovery partition they seem to have left on it, assuming that's what it is.

Thanks you so much, I will do that.
How can I officially thank you?

By the way, what is the best tool to create multiboot usb drives?

    Take care,

But before you do- create a disk image of your Disk 0.... in case things go wrong.

E.g. Macrium Reflect (free) + external disk for image storage. (Option Windows Backup).

We're not there yet- until the upgrade succeeds.

Multiboot USB drives- there is a thread about that or a tutorial. I don't know offhand I'm afraid.
Make a multiboot USB pen Solved - Windows 10 Forums

There is a more specific description of how to do this- maybe related to Kyhi's disk (top of Software and Apps).
Windows 10 Recovery Tools - Bootable Rescue Disk - Windows 10 Forums
    - bottom section of post 1 was one thing I recalled.

Better to update with the image or can I use the update assistant?

Do create a disk image first. That means running Macrium reflect with an external disk connected, and choosing 'Windows Backup' to create an image you can recover your PC from.

All regular contributors here use disk imaging routinely as far as I know. So many advantages.

A few people have problems with major upgrades. Act defensively.

Your best approach is to create a bootable Win 10 medium, if that's what you're asking.
If your update failed previously because of issues related to Windows update, this avoids those steps.
    Simpler is better.
Plus if it doesn't work, you have the bootable medium to try, try, try again.

At last I updated (I was out of town a few days) but I had to delete the hidden partitions on the second drive.

Thank you so much for your super support!

Excellent.. now create a new base disk image, and then keep it updated periodically & before/after major change.

(I'd hoped hiding the partitions would be adequate for testing that- interesting that they still interfered- but you now have extra space on your disk as intended).
