    My update system is corrupted and I have tried to follow the instructions at on the Microsoft site. Unfortunately the URL is useless to show what I am trying to do.     virus and spyware definition

    I followed the steps as suggested, and hence the problem got solved that time. But now again the virus definition is not getting updated. Its showing the same problem again. Any long term solution?

    Updation of Virus & Spyware definitions

    Virus & Spyware definitions didn't update because of an internet or connectivity problem.

    It is showing when I am going to update Virus & Spyware definitions. But there is no problem of connectivity or Internet. Real time protection is on & unable to update Virus & Spyware definitions.

    Please guide to resolve the problem.
