Windows 10: Unable to Update Windows 10 1909 to Windows 10 2004 Error 0x800707e7

Hi there,


I've been trying to update my Windows for a while now, and every time I try it gets to around 60% and then undoes all the changes. I thought maybe it was because I didn't have enough space, so I cleared up some space. That didn't work. I tried updating in a clean boot, that also didn't work. I heard that maybe rogue user profiles could be the culprit, so I looked in regedit but couldn't find anything. Does anyone have any advice on how to fix this?

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
