Unable to update Windows 10 after 13th Febuary - Possible issues with .Net Framework 3.5...

    OS: Windows 10 Home

Laptop model: LENOVO Ideapad 330S-15IKB GTX1050

Since February 13th or so The last successful windows 10 update I have installed. Cumulative updates, as well as updates for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8 are not being installed, giving area codes such as 0x800736b3 and 0x80240016 in the windows updater. Downloading offline packages for the windows update does not work, giving an error that it is unable to do.

I've attempted to reinstall .Net with no avail. In the "windows features" of Programs in the control panels, it can not add extra services of .net or uninstall .net, saying it is because the necessary files can not be found. I had also tried the .Net repair tool with no success, as well as the .Net cleanup tool which listed the issue as being "completely resolved" End codes 0 and 3010. I also can not roll back or uninstall previous updates to windows. Clearing the update cache softwaredistribution folder did not help. A cleanboot did not help, and disabling my anti-virus Avast AND a clean boot did not help except for giving another error code about installing conflicts due to two updates going at the same time.

SFC scans and DISM's install do not work either. SFC says there are no problems on my drives- same as error checking. the DISM says it can not find the needed files to perform the repair. It seems to be the case that my .Net is simultaneously installed and not installed, and no option for repair that I've come across as help. Oddly enough, other programs based off of the .Net framework Such as Paint.Net, MPV.net still work as fine as ever with no hiccups. One weird thing to note though, is that after uninstalling Avast, a Windows Defender update did successfully download AND install itself. It seems to be an outlier in this case

I was notified on my update screen today that "Your device is missing important security and quality fixes." with these updates being KB4537572, KB4537572 and KB4550945 as an optional update. Here is an imgur link with my list of failed updates and currently installed updates

Thanks to anyone who's read this and to anyone who will be able to offer assistance.

    :)

Unable to download any framework for .net - (error code 0x80070002)

OK, the Windows 10 Feature installation method should have been straightforward, but since that errored out as well, something else seems to be going on with your Windows, so wait for somebody with more experience to suggest a way out.

In the mean time, if you haven't already, you could give muchomurka's suggestion a go as well with the elevated prompt and an install media to see if it works. The following link shows the detailed steps involved.
