Windows 10: Unable to Update Windows 10 after mirroring my SSD hard drive

Discus and support Unable to Update Windows 10 after mirroring my SSD hard drive in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; Please help! I can't seem to get ahold of Microsoft!     Unable to Update Windows 10 after mirroring my SSD hard drive


    Please help! I can't seem to get ahold of Microsoft! I mirrored my SSD hard drive and everything seems to be working except some parts of Windows 10 Home--- Including I can NOT update Windows 10. I tried following the advice to "re-install 10" thereby forcing a repair or update but I just keep getting the 0x80004002 error on the upgrade tool/update tool... Basically, it is not working!


    Please help!

    How to Mirror the O/S drive with a second drive without using Raid

    I came across the following article about mirroring the O/S drive.

    However i recently upgraded my 500GB HDD with a 500GB
    SSD drive as my MBR C drive.

    Will I be able to apply the steps in section Case A above or will I have to get a second identical SSD drive as the mirror drive?

    Windowed Hard Drives

    On the contrary, showing off "slow tech" by adding a window to a hard drive is a "dumb" idea. Do you really want to be showing off a whole "7200-10000 RPM of power" or would you rather show off a plain SSD drive? (If you really desire to "show off")

    Adding any window to any drive is just stupid. I just suggested an easier option for you since manufactures don't put windows on the latest hard drives.

    Unable to Update Windows 10 after mirroring my SSD hard drive

    Mirror Hard Drive

    I am trying to mirror my hard drive with an external hard drive. However the add mirror is greyed out. How can I get it ungreyed out.

    I have created a volume for the external hard drive that didn't work. I tried creating a pool that didn't work. Why is it greyed out. Please help how can I resolve this?
