Windows 10: Unable to update Windows 10 and Windows 11

I bought a Lenovo Legion PC a few years ago. It gave me the famous Blue screen continually so I have to reset the Windows OS to fix that issue. I still get the blue screen each time after I restart PC or go to sleep mode. My PC can no longer install Windows updates and each time it try to upgrade to Windows 11 it will get installation error and the process will start all over again. Could you help me to identify the issues with my PC or I have to reset my PC to original Windows 10 OS so I can do updates and upgrade? Thanks a lot. Regards,Jonathan Liu

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Well just noticed a pretty large one pop up coming in at 914MB, seems it makes some pretty serous updates.

Microsoft to make Windows 10 updates mandatory

Well, at the moment at least, you can choose to defer upgrades. Under Settings > Windows Updates > Advanced options you need to check the box labeled "Defer upgrades". What does that do? Good question. The answer I've found might illuminate it to a degree.

I hear this only applies to Pro and Enterprise editions. But I can't verify that.
