Windows 10: Unable to update Windows 10 cumulative update KB5018410

I am trying to get windows to update. When I go to power off, windows asks me if I would like to update and restart, or update and shut down. When I select update and restart, windows says it is restarting, then windows restarts, but the options to update and restart or update and shut down are still showing.Also, Windows Update sends a notification telling me that my device will restart to update outside of active hours, giving me the option to restart now, or accept.When I open Windows Update, I am notified that a restart is required, and my device is missing important security or quality fi

Well just noticed a pretty large one pop up coming in at 914MB, seems it makes some pretty serous updates.

Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) will not install

Anyone else having problems getting the Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) installed? This update has been failing for me & doing a failed to update after downloading & reboot, then rebooting & removing the update.

V 10.0 build 10240

Maybe try with the Windows update mini-tool, found here http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/t...dows-10-automatic-updates-and-spyware.218745/ , thanks to Mussels. it installed perfectly for me last night.
