    Unable to update Windows 10, solutions suggested don't work


    Earlier this week I started getting an error when trying to update Windows 10. It tells me that a driver or a service is not ready for this version of Windows 10.     First I tried following the step-by-step guide, but it seemed to tell me that the program blocking updates was a Windows application in the windowsapps folder. The exact line was:

    <Property Name="LowerCaseLongPathUnexpanded" Value="%programfiles%\windowsapps\microsoft.appconnector_1.3.3.0_neutral__8wekyb3d8bbwe" Ordinal="1" />


    This worried me, because it seemed to suggest that it was something with my Windows installation that was the problem. I then ran the .bat file listed for download in the post, which opened a PowerShell window. It seemed to find 7 blocking apps, but no filepath to any of them (all of them are apparently null).

    These errors really makes me worry that it's not a thing that is going to resolve itself. If anyone has any tips or information, I would appreciate any help I can get.

    Thank you for trying to help , i did tried your suggestion but it did not work :/ , nothing seems to make it work on Windows 10 Fall Creators Update 1709. In the meantime i have bought a new SoundBlasterX AE-5 and it did installed flawlessly , no problems whatsoever. it is up to Creative ( drivers ) and Microsoft ( bug fix ) to fix this huge bugs with Audio.

    Thanks, have heard this before...is their a step by step procedure to OC using the bios settings you suggest.
    i don’t intend pushing this to its limit...but some increase would be great, any suggestions on a good air cooler ?
