Windows 10: Unable to update Windows 11 Home to Pro after purchasing via Store. Error 0x80070490

Hello, I've purchased Windows 11 Pro via Microsoft Store, however, I am unable to upgrade my installed version because of the 0x80070490 error. What can I do to resolve this problem?

I purchased windows 11 pro from the app store. Order history shows the order as complete however my computer still shows windows 11 home in the activation settings. Install link on the app store fails with unable to upgrade error 0x80070490

I can't upadate the apps in my windows 10 store. I keep getting the error message, 0x80070490. I've tried many of the recommended fixes for this, but now when I try to update anything the store crashes. Any helpful suggestions are
welcome.

 

Unable to Purchase anything on Windows Store

Whenever I am trying to purchase/upgrade any App in Store, I am getting an error as shown in the screenshot:





Please help suggest why this is happening, and how to rectify? Apps are downloading and updating absolutely fine. There is also no Issue with my account.
