Windows 10: Unable to update windows or install any drivers due to error code 0x800703f1

I am unable to update Windows 10 or update any of my drivers due to this error. I have attempted solutions provided online but I have been unsuccessful. I have even tried to reset the PC but an error occurs after trying.

Drivers won't update, errors 0x800703f1 and 0x80070002

I have about 20 drivers that need updating. Windows version 18363. The updates download but fail to install. All report error 0x80070002 or 0x800703f1.

I've tried:

• Clearing the download files and restarting the update service.
• Running the troubleshooter
• sfc /scannow
• dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth, which seemed to hang after the scan.
• perfmon /report, which shows that one service is crashing
• Using the Device Manager to install individual drivers
• Various other remedies proposed; I googled the error codes and followed up...

Suggestions?

 

Error Code 0x800703f1, Windows 10 update failure code

Can someone tell me what Error Code 0x800703f1 means and how to fix it. I have not been able to update Windows 10 due to that error: I have been trying since earlier in 2020.
