Windows 10: Unable to upgrade from Window 10 version 1803 Tried everything said by Microsoft customer...

Hi there,


I bought this laptop for more than a year ago. A few months back my Laptop started notifying me that the "update can't be installed, will try later/try again". Also, the same notification occurs when I try to install an app from the window app store. Then a few weeks back I was unable to install any software into my laptop as it says "kindly update to the latest window upgrade" something like that. So, I tried to update the window but it always goes like the following image:







Upon clicking "Fix issues" or clicking "Download and install now" both tell me that "Contact manufacture see if your BIOS needs an upgrade" but I have checked with HP assistant my system is up to date.

Then I contact the Microsoft customer service representative. He asked to perform various tasks using command prompt and try again. When nothing resolved the matter he asked me to reset the window by using the recovery option. That did not want to that still I did that as I wanted to resolve the issue and install new software on my Laptop. Sadly after doing a complete reset the problem is still there as can be seen in the image above. the good thing is I can install new software now but I am sure that this service will stop working in a month or 2.

Unable to update Windows 10 Pro version 1709 to 1803

Have made several attempts to update Windows 10 version 1709 to the latest version 1803 and have not been successful.

I've done the following per some suggestions found online:

• Updated drivers
• Ran the Trouble Shooter for Windows 10 (Errors found were shown to be "Fixed" per the tool)
• Unplugged the printer

Although not at every attempt, I have received the following errors:

• 0xc1900101
• 0x80070643

Can someone please advise me as to what the errors are and provide me with the steps to update Windows.
