  1. Unable to upgrade from Windows 10 22H2 to Windows 11 due to processor not supported issue

Currently my windows activation is for edition - Windows 10 Home Single Language, Version - 22H2 OS & Build - 19045.2486 digitally activated. The problem which I am facing currently is unable to upgrade to Windows 11 due to processor however in the supported list I can see it is there. My processor is of Intel Core i3 6006U CPU @2.00GHz PC health check says this processor is not currently supported for windows 11 upgrade. How can I proceed for the Windows 11 in such case?

    :)

Unable to upgrade to Windows 11 due to "unsupported processor" according to PC Health.

"The processor is not currently supported for Windows 11".

"The PC is running an Intel Core i7-6560U @ 2.2 GHz, which I can see on the list of supported processors for Windows 10 (home edition) version 21H1."

Yes, it's listed in Windows 10 supported processors, but NOT in Windows 11 supported processors.

Ineligible for upgrade to Windows 11 due to processor specs although my processor is listed as supported

As you can see, that list is for CPUs compatible with Windows 10, not Windows 11.

Still, your PC should have not trouble running Windows 11. You can install it, following instructions for installing Windows 11 on unsupported PCs. Microsoft is threatening to not provide the regular updates, unfortunately.

As to this canned and disingenuous time-wasting suggestion:

"However if you want to update your device to Windows 11, you can reach out to your manufacturer and have them check what is the compatible processor for your device for a processor replacement to update to Windows 11."

It appears like all "advisors" have been instructed to cut and paste that advice, even though it only takes seconds to see that it is bogus. They all use precisely that same sentence. Here is the verifiable fact:

    https://www.cpu-upgrade.com/CPUs/Intel/Core_i5_Mobile/i5-7200U.html

Even if your CPU were socketed, as opposed to soldered in place, there are no options to replace the CPU with one compatible with Windows 11. You might get away with upgrading to a 7th gen Core i7, and that's all. For Windows 11 "compatibility," you would need a new motherboard.

I wish people would cease and desist from offering advice that is incorrect.

Unable to upgrade from Windows 10 22H2 to Windows 11 due to processor not supported issue

Windows 10 to Windows 11 processor issue.

Upgrade to Windows 11 says it won't work on my PC due to the processor. I have Windows 10 Home 21H1 and a i5-7400 @3Ghz processor with both are shown on the approved list. What's with that.
