Windows 10: Unable to Use Microsoft Store – Error 0x80070422

I'm experiencing a persistent and critical issue with Microsoft Store that makes it completely unusable. It began with an error message every time I tried to install or update an app from the Store. Immediately upon opening the Store or attempting any action, I receive the following error: " Something went wrong Please try again later. 0x80070422 " Even before I interact with the app, the error message appears. I have already tried the following solutions with no success: - Running wsreset - Repairing and resetting Microsoft Store via Settings > Apps - Restarting and verifying key service

0x80070422 Error

The error code 0x80070422 means "The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it".

Press Win + R, type services.msc and click OK. This opens the Services MMC.



Inspect (and fix if necessary) the startup type of the following services and try to start them:

• Windows Update [Start type: Manual]
  
• Background Intelligent Transfer Service [Start type: Manual]
  
• Update Orchestrator Service [Start type: Automatic (delayed start)]
  
• Delivery Optimization [Start type: Automatic]
  

If some services are missing or unable to start, post the names of the missing services or the error message(s) here.

Unable to access Windows Store after performing System Restore. Error: 0x80070422 on Windows 10

As you are not able to access Windows Store after performing System Restore there might be an issues with the system files, date and time in the operating system etc..

Also, I would like to inform that error: 0x80070422 might have occurred due to Windows Update services.

Try few of the below troubleshooting steps and check if it helps.

Method 1: I suggest you to run the
Windows Store Apps troubleshooter.

Method 2: I suggest you to check with the system Date, time and Time zone
is set correct.

Follow the steps to set the date and time:

• Type Date and Time in the search bar.
• Click Change date and time button.
• Click Apply and Ok to save the date and time.

Note: Click on the Time Zone tab to check the Time Zone.

Method 3: I suggest you to Disable Proxy Settings

Windows Store apps won't work properly if you are using a proxy server. You may disable the proxy server and check.

Follow the below steps.

• Press Windows Key + R to open run command, type
  inetcpl.cpl.
• Under Internet Options, go to
  Connections tab.
• c. Click on the LAN Settings button.
• Then uncheck the option Use a proxy server for your LAN.
• Click Apply.

Windows Store, Cannot Download Apps. Error 0x80070422.

my computer is LEGION Y520, It is Window 10. I am unable to download any Apps from the Store. The error code is 0x80070422
