Windows 10: unable to use my bluetooth earphones in Handsfree AG mode

I am trying to connect my BT headsets in Handsfree mode so when i connect on a call i could conversate through my earphone easily but they only work in stereo mode and when i change them from stereo to handsfree, then everything becomes silent, mic does not work and when i run the test online "it shows audio is paused". I think maybe the problem is in my computer and not in Bluetooth adapter cause i just bought a new bluetooth adapter of LMP 12+ and previous one was 9.8 something.Please help me solve this issue.Thanks in advance for your consideration

Bluetooth Earphones Issue

Glad to know that you were able to fix the issue. We truly appreciate for the details and, time and effort that you have taken to work on this issue.

However, there could be an issue with the drivers on the computer, where the drivers are getting conflicted and not recognizing the Bluetooth device properly and you are unable to hear the audio as it was supposed to, we will look into this for you.

• Could you please try using the Bluetooth device with a different computer and check if it works?
  

Please unplug the wired headphones and connect only the Bluetooth earphones and check if that makes any difference.

Please follow the below mentioned methods and check if it helps.

Method 1:

As you are unable to see the Bluetooth headphones after pairing to the computer, I suggest you to run the Bluetooth troubleshooter from the settings. Follow the steps below:

• Press Windows logo key + I, to open
  Settings.
  
• Select Update & Security.
  
• Click Troubleshoot and run the Bluetooth troubleshooting.
  

If the issue still persists, please follow method 2.

Method 2: update drivers.

The Bluetooth drivers could be out dated, hence un-pair the device from setting and update the Bluetooth drivers and check if that helps. Please refer the article

Update drives in Windows 10, expand Bluetooth device and follow the instruction from the above article.

Bluetooth handsfree?

it works the same everytime:

- connect bluetooth to car as handsfree

- find contact and initiate call

- while 'connecting' checking menu confirms 'handsfree on'

- once connected, 'handsfree off' and call is routed to handset

- menu to turn 'handsfree on' works and call is transferred to car



initiating call from car works fine



so the Blackjack / Windows Mobile / or the Bluetooth protocol is incorrectly selecting 'handsfree off' at the moment the call is connected



everything else works fine, dialing from car, answering calls, switching lines, etc.



interestingly, I tested the Samsung A717 and it works correctly, suggesting the Samsung Bluetooth implementation is correct and it's a WM5 thing

 

Bluetooth earphones connected in Windows 11, but cannot play sound

Hi, my name is Jan and I'm here to help you. A driver problem related to your wireless Bluetooth earphones is most likely causing it. Follow each step below to fix your wireless earphones issue.

1. Search for "Bluetooth"

Select "Bluetooth settings and other devices"

Select your wireless Huawei earphones from the list

Click Remove device

Tap Yes.

Press Windows Key + X

Open Device Manager

Click "View"

Check the box "Show hidden devices"

Expand Bluetooth

Then right-click on your Bluetooth device

Then uninstall all drivers related to your wireless Huawei earphones

Restart your computer.

Make sure your wireless Huawei earphones are set to pairing mode. Refer to your wireless headphones manual on how to put your device into pairing mode.

Then try to pair your wireless headphones again to your computer

2. Search Bluetooth

In the list of "Bluetooth and other device settings"

Scroll down and then under "Related settings"

Select and click on "More device and printer settings"

Right-click on your wireless headset

and then select "Properties"

and click on the Services tab.

and then check all the features under Bluetooth Services.

Click Apply and then OK.
