Windows 10: Unable to use USB? keyboard after accidentally installing new driver using Zadig

Hi! I'm using a Nextbook computer with Windows 10. I accidentally messed up the keyboard driver while trying to set up a controller. I can no longer use the keyboard. The trackpad works fine. To be specific since it might help the keyboard is seperate from the Nextbook, and is registered as a USB device. If someone could help me reset the drivers or something, it would be greatly appreciated!

USB keyboard disconnects when holding any button down

I suggest you to follow the below methods and check if it helps.

Method 1: I suggest you to try the following steps and check if it helps:

• The USB connection may be loose. Try unplugging the keyboard, and then plugging it back in.
• Plug the keyboard into a different USB port.
• If your keyboard is plugged into a USB hub or USB switch box, try removing it and plugging the keyboard into the computer.
• Unplug other USB devices that are not in use.
• Try the keyboard on another computer to verify it is working correctly

Method 2: Also I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the usb keyboard drivers as below and check if it helps.

• Press Windows+X and go to device manager.
• Then expand keyboards and right click on the driver.
• Then click on uninstall and restart the computer.
• It will be reinstalled automatically and check if it helps.

Unable to install any OS

Hi guys, I'm unable to install any OS. I tried ubuntu and got input/output error, tried installing window 7 error 0x80000010.

Downloaded iso's of both again and again still same result. Got a new SSD still the same, tried a different usb still the same.

I'm fed up, have been trying since the past 1 month still am unable to install.
I've listed my specs in my profile.

PS Have even tried/changed my ram.
Where the pug is the problem ?

I have been using live usb to work on computer for now but I need a permanent OS.

 

Unable to install USB 3.0 driver in windows 10

You can try using the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter to fix the problem. It checks for common problems and makes sure that any new device or hardware connected to your PC is installed correctly.

Run Hardware and device troubleshooter

• Press Windows+R key on the keyboard.
• Type Troubleshooting and select ‘Troubleshooting’.
• Click on ‘Hardware and Sound’ and select ‘Hardware and Devices’
  and click on next to run the troubleshooter.

If the issue still persist I suggest you to try the following steps from the below Microsoft help article:

Install USB 3.0 and other USB devices

(Steps are given for Windows 8.1 applies to Windows 10 as well)

If still issue persist try updating to the latest build 10166 and check if it help.
