Windows 10: Unable to use various websites and Internet using apps

Help!


Towards the end of October last year 2020 I began to experiencea number of issues with the behaviour of some websites and internetaccessing apps.


The first issue that I began having was that I was continuouslygetting the "Something went wrong" error on my News Feed afterscrolling down only a few messages. I tried the recommended solutions tidyingup cache and history etcetera but to no avail. Sometimes it will not even loadany posts into the News Feed at all. This issue is also affecting the loadingof the Stories banner at the top of the News Feed page too, as well assometimes making other parts of Facebook, such as individual posts into groupsI am subscribed too, unavailable. The only way to resolve the problem is to doa forced refresh CTRL + F5 but even then it will only display a few postsbefore the “Something went wrong” message appears at the bottom of the NewsFeed.



Taken on its own I had thought this may have just put this down toa problem with Fb and tried other solutions but there are many otherInternet/connectivity issues I am having too.


When trying to set up VISA Click to Pay, the page just gets stuckon the adding card details form and I am also unable to use some websitecheckout screens such as on the panzera.shop or some things like GoogleTranslate, which only shows “Oops! Google Translate did not respond: please tryagain!” in the translation box.


These issues occur when using both Chrome and Edge and ondifferent wi-fi networks my home and place of work.


I also have difficulties with some apps from the Microsoft Storewhich access the Internet. The main problem appears to be that the Pintrest appThe one from Pintrest Inc. will not play any of the video pins as well asbeing unable to use MS Teams to attend work meetings, although Zoom does stillseem to work.


For all these problems I was using an HP Pavilion x360 15” laptop.


However, the laptop had a hardware failure just over a week agocooling failure and will not now power on at all and so I have just got a newDell Inspiron 7506 2n1 laptop and completed a clean install of Windows 10 onThursday of last week January 28th and was shocked to discoverthat the issues described above appear to be carried over onto this brand newlaptop too even after performing the latest updates and also after removingthem and again after reinstalling them.


In addition, I am now unable to use the remote access app I wasusing on the HP laptop Cloudberry Lab/MSP360 Remote Desktop is also not workingnow. It appears to make a connection to the remote host at my place of work butthen just freezes the image to whatever the screen was at the moment ofconnection.


I have run the Dell SupportAssistant tool to check for any obviouserrors but the SupportAssistant reported no faults in the hardware, drivers orany network issues. I have also tried removing and reinstalling the affectedapps but still with no success.


As a last resort, I also have tried setting up a new local useraccount on the new laptop but the same errors occurred.


I have tried all the recommended check/restore options from the MSSupport pages [COLOR=rgba30, 30, 30, 1]DISM & SFC, all of which reported norfaults.[/COLOR]


I've reached the end of my knowledge/ability to investigate thisfurther and need assistance.

Disclaimer: Reset Internet Explorer to its default configuration. This step will also disable any add-ons, plug-ins, or toolbars that are installed. Although this solution is quick, it also means that, if you want to use any of those add-ons

Unable to access YouTube websites on Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge on Windows 10

• What is the complete error message/ error code while trying to access the web pages?
• Does this issue specific only with YouTube?
• Have you made any changes to the operating system prior to this issue?

Try the below workarounds to identify what is causing the issue:

• Try to access YouTube in different browser and check if it is working fine. This will let us know if the issue is with the website/ the Microsoft browsers.
• Also, try to access different website on Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge.

Try the below troubleshooting steps to access the website and check if it helps.

Method 1: For Internet Explorer

Step 1: I suggest you to run the Internet Explorer Performance troubleshooter.

• Press Windows key, type
  troubleshooting and select it.
• Click on View all in the left pane.
• Click on Internet Explorer Performance
  and follow the onscreen instructions.

Step 2: If the issue is only on Internet Explorer and to specific website, I suggest you to view the website in compatibility view to check if the issue is confined to compatibility.

Steps to view the website in compatibility view:

• Open Internet Explorer
  and open the website.
• Click on Gear/ Settings icon at the right-top corner of the window.
• Click on Compatibility View Settings, click on Add
  to add the website and click on Close.
• Reopen the website and check if the issue persists.

Step 3: If the issue still persists, I suggest you to access the website in
InPrivate mode and check.

InPrivate Browsing enables you to surf the web without leaving a trail in Internet Explorer. This helps prevent anyone else who might be using your computer from seeing what sites you visited and what you looked at on the web. You can start InPrivate
Browsing from the New Tab page or the Safety button.

Steps to open the browser in InPrivate mode:

Open Internet Explorer, press Shift+Ctrl+P
to open the browser in InPrivate mode and try to access the website.

Method 2: For Microsoft Edge:

I suggest you to check if the Adobe Flash player is enabled on Microsoft Edge.

• Open Microsoft Edge, click on More actions
  (...) in the right-top corner of Microsoft Edge window.
• Click on Settings, scroll down and click on
  Advanced settings.
• Enable Use Adobe Flash Player
• Check if the issue persists with accessing the YouTube websites.

Can't access to various website

I am unable to access any websites on Mozilla or internet explorer. It always showing server not found & I have tried to fix the network connection by various methods but it didn't work. My window is windows 10 home( hp).

The problem started occurring from last 2 days when my own website didn't access because of some problems and I changed some network settings to solve the website problem.

Now the website problem has been solved bt the new problem arises that I couldn't access other websites also.

Please help me out and give the suggestions to fix it.
