Hello everyone,

I'm using lenovo ideapad 310-15ikb. I haven't been on windows for two years now because it was too slow for me, so I decided to reset it and give it another chance. But after resetting I can't use the wifi, the problem being that the wifi driver "Qualcomm Atheros QCA9377 Wireless Network" gives error that windows couldn't initialize it with code 37.


I checked the lenovo website, and it says that this driver is not suitable for my laptop version, and when I tried to install the suggested driver nothing happened. What do I do ?


PS : I'm able to use ethernet though.

Follow the below steps sequentially.

Step 1:

First, I suggest you to uninstall the Qualcomm Gobi2000 9225 driver.

• 
  Press Windows + X keys on the keyboard, select Device manager.
  
• 
  Locate the Qualcomm Gobi2000 9225 driver from the list of drivers available in Device manager.
  
• 
  Right click on the Qualcomm Gobi2000 9225 driver and click
  Uninstall.
  
• 
  Click OK (if any dialog box prompted)
  

Step 2:

I suggest you to install the Qualcomm Gobi2000 9225
Windows 7 driver in compatibility mode and check the functionality of the driver.

Compatibility mode runs the program using settings from a previous version of Windows. Try this setting if you know the program is designed for (or worked in) a specific previous version of Windows.

Follow the steps to install the drivers in compatibility mode.

• Right-click on the Qualcomm Gobi2000 9225
  driver setup file and click on Properties.
  
• Click on the compatibility tab and check the box
  Run this program in compatibility mode for and select previous Operating System from the drop down. (Windows 7/8/vista/xp/other Windows as you prefer).
• Click on Apply and click ‘OK’ and run the file to install it.

• Have you installed any drivers for the WiFi card?

Try updating the drivers and check if the issue persists.

I suggest you to follow the steps below to update the Wifi drivers.

• Press Windows + X key on the keyboard.
• Select the device manager.
• Right-click your Wireless/Wi-Fi devices.
• Click Update Driver Software and then follow the steps in the wizard that appears.
• Restart the machine and check if the issue persists.

Unable to access Bluetooth and Wi-Fi as there are no drivers in Device Manager on Windows 10

Step 1: I suggest you to run
Hardware and Devices troubleshooter.

checks for common problems and makes sure that any new device or hardware connected to your PC is installed correctly.

Steps:

  key from the keyboard, type Troubleshooting and select it.
  
• 
  Click on view all option on the upper left corner of
  Troubleshooting window.

  Select the Hardware and Device
  options from the list.
  
• 
  Click Next to run the
  Hardware and Device Troubleshooter.
  
  
  

Step 2: I suggest you to install the latest drivers and updates for your device after upgrading to Windows 10.

This will help you to find the drivers for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi and may help in installing the drivers.

Steps:

1. Connect to the internet (Wired internet connection).

2. Press
Windows key and type updates.

3. Click on
Check for updates.

4. Under
Windows Updates, click on Check for updates.

5. Try to install the updates being shown.
