Windows 10: Unable to view images as icons

Hello. I use the latest version 21H2 OS build 19044, 1566 of Windows 10. Recently I uploaded some images from my Nokia G10 Android. I was able to view the images as icons. Then I added the Nokia G10 folder to OneDrive and uploaded them. The following day, I was unable to view any of the images as icons although I was able to in other folders. I have tried resetting and changing image size to 125% and back again and all the things that are recommended. Nothing works and now I am unable to view icons in any folders. I am able to view the images in Photos and also when I look on-line at OneDri

Unable to view images in SD Card

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community. Appreciate your interest in using Windows 10 and your steps in trying to solve the issue.

I suggest you to check the size of the SD drive and the size of the image in the SD drive. If there is any change in the size, the images might be hidden. So I suggest you to unhide the hidden files by following the steps below.

• Right click on the Start icon and select Command Prompt (Admin).
• Type/(copy and paste) the command below:

attrib –h –r -s /s /d D:*.* (Replace the Last letter "D" by the drive letter as per the system

assigned for your flash drive)

3. Type Exit and press Enter.

Now open the SD card and check for the status.

Files & Folders View as medium or large Icons

To assist you better, we would suggest that you try to follow the steps below:

• Open File Explorer.
• Once you are viewing a folder, right click an empty space within the File Explorer window and select View from the dialogue menu, then choose Large or any icon you wanted to use. Alternatively, you can use the following shortcut keys on the keyboard to
  change your View settings:

• CTRL + SHIFT + 1 Extra Large
• CTRL + SHIFT + 2 Large icons
• CTRL + SHIFT + 3 Medium Icons
• CTRL + SHIFT + 4 Small Icons
• CTRL + SHIFT + 5 List
• CTRL + SHIFT + 6 Details
• CTRL + SHIFT + 7 Tiles
• CTRL + SHIFT + 8 Content

3. Once you have the view set, you can make it the default view for

every folder.

4. Click Apply, then click OK.

Unable to view status bar

To assist you better, please provide few details.

• 
  Are you able to access other icons on the task bar?
  
• 
  Did you turned off, system icon?
  

This might occur when the system icon is turned off.

I would suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• 
  Type Settings in the search area on the task bar and select
  Settings.
  
• 
  Select the System option.
  
• 
  Select Notification and action center.
  
• 
  Select Turn on/off system icon.
  
• 
  Turn on the icon which you want to view on your status bar.
