    Unable to Windows 10 due to disk space


    Hi

    I have a laptop that has Windows 10 on the C: drive, which has only 28 gb storage and a seperate D: drive with over 900 gb. The C: drive is nearly full but the D: drive is almost empty. Windows is trying to run updates but there is not enough space on the C: drive. How can I get round this?

    One of the possible reasons why your disk space was reduced is due to an unallocated disk space on your partitions. For us to isolate your concern, we suggest that you check your device's partition. To do this, follow the steps provided below:

    • Type Computer Management on Ask me anything and press
      Enter.
    • Select Storage and click on Disk Management.

    Low Disk Space error

    Hi,

    I suggest you to delete the unwanted applications or games installed on the device and also perform a Disk Cleanup.

    In order to delete the games or applications, which has been downloaded from the Windows Store you need to right click on the game and select
    Uninstall option from the Start menu.

    If the games that you are downloaded are .exe or the applications which are not downloaded from the Windows Store, you may try deleting it from the Control panel.

    To do so, please follow the below steps.

    • Right Click on Start Menu.
    • Open Control Panel.
    • Click Programs.
    • Click Programs and Features.
    • Click on the programs that you would like to uninstall.
