Windows 10: Unaccounted downloading of data while trying to connect to 192.168.8.1 Huawei wifi dongle

When I enter 192.168.8.1 the address of my Huawei 4g dongle, Edge tries to connect to 192.168.8.1/html/home.html but does not succeed. Instead BitMeter shows a steady stream of data being downloaded as long as Edge is trying to connect. When I close the tab, the downloading stops. Can someone provide a clue to what is going on?My Windows:Edition Windows 10 Home Single Language Version 22H2 OS build 19045.3516 Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.19052.1000.0

I think this instruction 192-168-1-1.one can help you. I used it when I needed to change wifi password on my router. You should check the connection of the network cable also – it
may possibly be conducted incorrectly. Make sure that you use the “LAN” port, not the “Internet” port – in this case nothing will work. I hope it also can helps you.

Alight let me explain it in steps:

1. I plug the Wifi Dongle

2. I connect to my 5 Ghz band network

3. The Wifi Dongle is connecting

4. The moment the Wifi Dongle is connected it crashes (making the USB disconnect sound and that)

5. The Wifi Dongle reboots itself but crashes again and goes back to step 4

Sometimes trying to connect to it manually (because I didn't connect automatically) it can:
1. Ask for the password (even though I already entered it?) and immeditally before I could enter it it goes to the step below
2. Reports "Can't connect to this network" and crashes, again repeating the cycle

On very rare occasions it also not just itself reboots but every USB device connected to my pc and on really rare occasions this reboot causes the keyboard and mouse not to work which lead to me pressing the power button of my PC, shutting it down
