Windows 10: Unallocated is blank in disk managerment.

Discus and support Unallocated is blank in disk managerment. in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; USB doesn't work but it shows in the device and manager and disk management.     Unallocated is blank in disk managerment.


    USB doesn't work but it shows in the device and manager and disk management. But in disk management, the unallocated is blank and says no media.So far I change letters and update and uninstall the drive but nothing happened. I have also done CMD administrator but it says "cannot open volume access"Please help me.

    Hey there, @Shamonto Hasan Easha!

    I'd try re-plugging the hard drive and checking if the cable is damaged. I'd also suggest to try plugging the drive in another computer and see if it gets recognized properly there. Is it a IDE or SATA drive you're using?
    If the drive is unallocated, this means that the partition has been lost after the power went down.

    Unallocated Space to C Drive

    Hi Travis,

    It appears that a disk partition was created but was never assigned its allocation. Assuming there are no files stored in the unallocated partition, perform these steps to combine it with your C: drive:

    • In Disk Management, right-click on (CUnallocated is blank in disk managerment. :) which appears next to the
      Unallocated partition.
    • Select Extend.

    Let us know if you're able to combine the spaces after following the steps above.
