Windows 10: Unanswered questions in this community that are "locked" and cannot be replied to.

Q: Why are there so many unanswered questions in this community? A: Because they are "locked" and cannot be replied to. Followup Q: If you have an answer to a "locked" thread, how do you provide it for the benefit of other community users? It should not matter how old a thread is. If I have the same question and come across the answer, I would like to be able to share it with others who originally had the question and anyone who has it now or in the future. I am currently frustrated because I have discovered an answer to a question that seems to have been posted and unanswered multiple times

Hi Josey -

Thanks for the quick reply. While your suggestion does change the sign in process, it doesn't address the differing screenshot question. Following the steps doesn't make the login screenshot the same as the Lock screenshot. As I mentioned, I can't even find the screenshots being used for both screens.

Still looking a solution to this. Open to any other suggestions you might have to the problem. Thanks!

What I'd like to clarify is if this IP address - 157.56.121.106 - really DOES belong to Microsoft .......... or if it is some other organisation
pretending to be Microsoft.

You can use your own image of any background and just go to settings/personalize/lock screen and click on browse as in the image below. It should make whatever picture you use as the Lock Screen
