Windows 10: Unauthorized charge re: Microsoft Windows 10 / Seeking a refund for the unauthorized charge.

8/31/23 Help! I need to cancel an unauthorized charge from Microsoft Windows 10 via a local computer store @ Hilo, HI. The amount in question: $73.14; Technician Randall who installed the program is no longer employed at this local computer store. This local computer store is not wanting to help me to get my money back. Instead they Clerk: Dell told me to get in touch with my bank to stop payment for the unauthorized purchase. What should I do? I am unable to reach Microsoft by phone. Please help!

Why does Microsoft not take the refund of unauthorized charges case by case? I'm being charged $600.93 in a 3 day period because I wasn't able to remove my card after purchasing a month of Xbox live. The site I went to lead me through a removal of the
auto renew but kept my card on there during the month I had just ordered for my grade school grandson. Hence, I'm over-drafted in my account and they won't refund it or take the games back at all. There should be no problem for a huge tech company like Microsoft
to put an alert on a child's account that adds up to $ 600.93 in a period of 3 days. The parent should have been alerted. I'm sure that the company is tech savvy enough to build in protection of parents and grandparents.

 

Refund for unauthorized purchase - Developer does not refund but recommends to dispute the charge

I realized I was charged without my authorization by an in-app purchase. I contacted the developer, finally today they replied me but they just recommended to dispute the charge with the bank. I do not understand very well why they don't just refund me
and prefer the bank contact them. Any idea? By the way, given what they said, my next step is to call my bank and dispute this charge. Any suggestion is very welcomed!
